Nothin' says Summer is Ending like blackberries and giant zucchini. While I have acres of my own blackberries, I am dependent on my friends for giant zucchini. This morning, after making my 6th loaf of zucchini bread for the freezer, I stepped outside and took a deep breath. I could taste the ripening blackberries all around me. I marched the kids outside to help me pick:

Here is my bread and my soon-to-be jam and cobbler:

And the berries are only half of what I picked. Off one bush. There are plenty more for the pickin'.
