Turkey Day

Highlights from our day were L and Big S's visit, reading IJ and S's Thanksgiving poetry before dinner, and working side-by-side with my dear husband in the kitchen to prepare our Thanksgiving meal.

We once again had turducken instead of regular turkey (hopefully this will be the last time).  This year IJ helped me make succotash, a recipe that we found in his history activity book.

D loved his mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes and really loved his turkey bone!
