Every year, the local homeschoolers get together and have a Christmas party with an ornament exchange and cookie feast. One of the mom collects homeschooling pictures from all the families and creates a wonderful slide show of what we've done each year. In my imaginary world, I submit many of my award-winning photos and make salt dough ornaments with my kids. In the real word, I find an old bucket of air dry clay and set the kids loose creating to their heart's desires while I go feed the baby. Tomorrow is the party. I submitted no pictures. I'll buy cookies on the way. Maybe today we will get the ornaments painted...otherwise we will just color them with markers.
