Yep, he read it. On his own. After hours. With a reading light. In five days (or nights I should say). He is a chip off the old block. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I remember hiding under the blankets with a flashlight after my mom told me to go to bed. So when I started catching him reading in the dark I just bought him a nice reading lamp so he wouldn't ruin his eyes. As for his choice in reading material, I'm impressed that my six year old is reading so well. I think he is reading better than even I did in first grade!
