I use two math programs with the boys: Saxon and Miquon. Saxon mimics how math is taught in a classroom setting and has been used by homeschoolers for many years. Saxon is boring and repetitive, but one is confident nothing is being missed when taught at home. Miquon is more of a hands-on discovery of math and can be confusing for those who prefer their information spoon fed. So far this morning I've made IJ cry and we haven't even gotten to the spelling test yet.
