The deer at Twin Firs are not afraid of people. This picture is of a doe nursing two fawns at once; you just can't see the other fawn. The doe is trying to wean the fawns. She lets them nurse for a few seconds and bounds away. I know how she feels!
Here are the boys up on the carport roof. DH and Child #2 spent the weekend chipping off the tar and replacing the roofing paper. They have a set of matching blisters, only they are on opposite hands (DH is left-handed). The boys had a blast crawling up the ladder and "helping" their dad and sister.
